It's been a while since the spring semester of my university ended. It's very momentous for me because it was the second-to-last semester before I graduate on December. I have been very busy with work for the last month or so. I started working at during the finals week. You might think that decision would kill me, but it really didn't. I've already finished most of the project-finals a week or more. As for the exam-finals, they're all online. I did really great with my courses, so I was very happy.
At my work, I am always busy because I do most of the housekeeping and bookkeeping part of the job. I am always on my feet. But although I am very tired most of the time, I look forward to the salary I get every two weeks. Since I do not receive grants anymore, I had to ask my family to pitch in money for my tuition fees. I love and am thankful for their support, but I want to pay for my tuition fee myself. I am actually the type of person who doesn't ask others for something. Whatever they're willing to give me, I receive it wholeheartedly. I think I've become like that because there were times back then that I asked and didn't receive.
In addition to finishing a semester and finding a work. I successfully snagged an internship for fall semester. For my last semester, it is required that I do some field experience or thesis paper. I chose field experience - which is a minimum of 135 hours internship. I still haven't told my professor because I haven't receive the paperwork from the organization I'm interning at, but still, I'm looking forward to it. I think I will enjoy working with them even though it will be through Slack and Zoom. That's another thing - I'm not really sure if remote work is allowed for the field experience course? Although I asked my friend and fellow classmate and she said that it is. August is in two months. I can only sigh.
In addition to the internship, I'm planning to retain my work as a part-time employee, and I am also still going to volunteer every Friday at the hospital where I volunteer at. I don't know what will happen, but hopefully I do not have to choose between the three.
Please wish me luck. :{)
