Harold is shaking underneath him. Harold fears him, and Joshua becomes sad. "Harold," he tries to call out, but his lover's name comes out as a guttural sound like - "Ar-raw-rd" - and Joshua is heartbroken.
To show Harold that he'll never harm him, Joshua takes a bite of his own rotting flesh, but the face Harold makes screams disgust, and when Joshua brings his left arm up in a gesture of "no, no, no," Harold scrambles away from him saying, "go away" and "begone, devil."
Joshua is now angry. With a limp and drag, he walks toward Harold, but he's fast at running away.
Joshua can't find Harold. He leaves him. He leaves him.
Pass the anger comes grief, and Joshua finds himself on the corner of a dark road tunnel sitting on the sidewalk next to another zombie.
"Roo arrrrrrr rrruuuu?" this zombie asks him. "Aaaa mmmm Jaaaaaakkkkkkeeeee."
"Jjjjjjjjjjooooo ssoooo aaaaaa." Joshua answers. "Rrrraaaaattt rrruuuu iiiiiitttt hiiiirrrraaa?"
"Aaaaa rooooo nnnnooo," then Jake cries - if shouting "aaaaaaaaaa" repeatedly in a sobbing manner means crying. "Aaaaaaaaa iiiiiiittttt maaaaaaa faaaaaaa miiiiiiii rrrrrrriiiiii huuuuuu huuuuuu huuuuu."
Joshua winces. it must have been very hard for Jake to resist the urge of eating a living flesh much less his family. Thinking about it, he should've taken a bite at Harold, that betrayer.
Jake and Joshua watch a horde of zombies move past them when they smell a human nearby.
"Rrrrrrrreeeeeessssss gggggggoooooo?" Joshua stands up and looks at Jake who is already getting up himself.
Both zombies join the horde - for the thrill, not for the flesh.
