In the previous article, I went over the first floor, the garage, and the exterior of the house. Now, I will go over the second floor.

Before that, here's the floor plan:

We know that below the landing is the first floor's bathroom/restroom/powder room. However, the landing itself will have a painting, or a huge family picture, maybe some potted plants, a slim cabinet as a centerpiece, or maybe some kind of altar. On the second-floor landing, there's a hallway. This hallway is a long hallway from the front of the house to the back. Immediately, there will be a built-in cabinet in the hallway. It is an extra storage space for blankets, pillowcases, bedsheets, flat sheets, extra futons, and pillows. Across is the second-floor bathroom. It will be a long bathroom with a long countertop, two sinks, a toilet, and a tiled shower cubicle encased by a glass door. The mirror will be those long and big mirrors that stick to the wall - this will make the bathroom look bigger.

Now, there will be three rooms upstairs - The master's, and two relatively smaller rooms. But before that, we go to the front end of the hallway. It will lead to a tucked-away hallway that ends with a wall. In this hallway, there is a sliding glass door to the front balcony. This balcony will act as a roof to the front porch. It is also a wrapped-around. The first room, which faces the street, has an advantage because they can use the big windows as a door to the balcony. The room is big enough for a queen bed, and there will be an extra space for a study table and a small vanity. It has its own walk-in closet, although relatively smaller than that of the master's. The other room at the back end of the hallway will be a reflection of the other, but it does not have an advantage over its own balcony because the roof for the back porch/patio will only be a roof. And yes, the balconies - front and master's - will have their own roofs.

Now, there's a small hallway to the master's bedroom. The master's bedroom is very huge. It can house a California king bed, its own sofa area, and a vanity table. The en suite is a reflection of the second-floor bathroom. Next to the en suite is the walk-in closet. The walk-in closet is big and even has an island. As mentioned, they have their own balcony, which is very big. On the other side, there's a room for another home office, or it can easily be another walk-in closet for the other person. The dad, for example. The master's will have two big windows, while the separate room will have two windows as well.

Almost all the windows will have flower boxes and wide enough windowsill for potted plants. The hallways will still have those long, rectangular carpets. It will have wall sconces and picture frames. The floors will still be wood, except for the restrooms. The color schemes in the rooms are different from each other. There will be different wallpapers or wall paints. However, what I like to reflect in this house are peace and calmness, so there will be lots of blue and green hues, mostly white walls, but a warmer shade of white.

For this house, I want it to be warm and cozy, really lived-in and have lots of laughter and conversations.

This video follows through with what I wrote in this and the previous article, with some changes here and there.
