The red, blue, and green
Pinwheels turn and turn
With the whisper of the
Cool autumn wind.
Xiao Mao, from up above her
Perch, gazes outside and sees
Two little robins dancing on
The ginkgo's tree branch.
Xiao Mao stands and stretches
Her listless body. After a huge
Yawn, she jumps the steps and
Walks two steps forward then
Another step back.
She does this for some time
Until the door opens. She runs
Outside, ignoring the person's call
And finds herself atop the
Tree sunbathing.
Xiao Mao is satisfied.

*No little robins are harmed with this poem.
